PRODUCTION SCHEDULE PLAN FOR WEEK OF JULY 5, 2010
The Independence Day holiday will be observed on Monday July 5, 2010. Some of the plants we ship to including BMW are scheduled down and will not have production for all or part of the week. As a result we will have a reduced production schedule that week, and will use equipment down time for necessary maintenance work. Based on information that our customers have provided us at this time, we are planning on the following production schedule:
AUTOMOTIVE:
Weekend shift - Employees on the Weekend shift will work their normal schedules on Friday and Saturday, July 2nd and 3rd. Weekend shift employees will not be scheduled to work on Sunday July 4, 2010.
All other shifts- It is planned that the plant will be shut down and no work scheduled for Sunday and Monday July 4 & 5, 2010. The driveway from New Cut Rd. to the guard station will be re-sealed on July 4 and 5, and no traffic will be allowed on these days.
WEEK OF JULY 5, 2010 - Following the holiday on July 5th, many employees will not be scheduled to work again until Thursday July 8th. Maintenance, Tool and Die, Weld Techs, and a very limited number of specific production jobs will be working July 6 and 7. Your supervisor will inform you of your work schedule. All employees will be scheduled back to work on Thursday July 8 and Friday July 9 beginning with 3rd shift at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday July 7, 2010. Employees on the weekend crew will work their normal shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 9, 10, and 11, 2010.
