Orbital Riveting of a Idler Arm Pivot Assembly for the Lawn & Garden Industry
A client in the lawn and garden industry contracted Spartanburg Steel Products to rivet this featured idler arm pivot assembly. Using orbital riveting, we riveted two-headed rivets in two places for pulleys. We then inspected the surface quality, checked the pulley fitment, and verified that the belt guide was present. Additionally, we tested the torque using a torque wrench. After we were certain all standards had been met, as outlined in a client-supplied print and 3D CAD drawing, we packaged and delivered the idler arm pivot assembly to our client.
